What an amazing book. When reading Back to the Village you get transported to Greece and become part of the family. Beautiful descriptions of the places, makes you feel like you are on the beach or in the car. Loved every bit of my Greek vacation. Now I want to go there for real!

Back to the Village is a lovely story about a holiday in Crete, reuniting with family, enjoying food and listening to fascinating stories about the past. There’s also a lovely element of nostalgia and an unexpected family secret. I really enjoyed the journey and felt that I was experiencing the village and the people, as well as the Cretan way of life. I really enjoyed it.
